Richard Sheen – Managing Director

Some 25 years ago, Richard started a labour only shop fitting business, providing a hands on approach to the management and completion of projects awarded.

Due to his approachable attitude and knowledge for his trade, Richard was able to build relationships with key clients, and expanded his business to the supply and installation of all joinery works.

In early 2013 the Sheen group was again, subject to substantial growth with the founding of Sheen Doors. This side of business is accountable for the manufacturing of door sets. Achieving all required certificates from the likes of BM Trada, and the acquisition of all plant and machinery, has meant the Sheen group has expanded to an estimated turnover in excess of £3million in 2014, employing approx. 50 people.

Despite his success, Richard is still keen to maintain a personal relationship with clients, and is often found visiting site, and attending meetings, having not lost that hands on approach.

Often working too many hours a day means Richard is able to spend Saturday afternoons partaking in a game of golf. Golf being his other passion in life.
